A delightful Sevres 18th Century porcelain egg cup.
A rare item.
It is painted with roses in one panel and a bird in the other, both surrounded by a gilt.
The attractive 'Bleau Celeste'ground.
Marked on base with L’s and X for 1775.

Width: x4.5 cm.
In very good condition,with no apparent restoration but with some gilding loss, and some firing pitted marks in the interior.
An excuisite piece.
