Description
This is a delightful Sevres 18th Century porcelain egg cup.It is painted with roses in one panel and a bird in the other, both surrounded by a gilt.
The attractive 'Bleau Celeste' ground
Marked on base with L’s and X for 1775
In very good condition, with no apparent restoration but with some gilding loss, and some firing pitted marks in the interior.A rare item and an exquisite piece.
